Revamp

  • April Linkhub Update
  • Archive Tumblr art blog posts on microblog
    • This was the original intention of the microblog way back when I first got into web dev to be honestly. I already have the drafts of all of the posts in Markdown. Just gotta copy paste them into this project XD.

New

  • Eleventy-based blog
    • Still playing with Eleventy and want to move my blog from zonelets powered to Eleventy-powered. I quickly had enough of all the work of adding a new blog post and the blog itself operating with client-side Javascript which is a huge blow to accessibility. Eleventy produces the HTML with Java before being deployed to the browser. I have the most barebones design at https://arimamary-blog.netlify.app/.

On hold

  • Set up Microblog server on microblog
    • EDIT (04/21): I put so many hours into this and I couldn’t do it. I even tried with an LLM and used up my monthly quota :(. Maybe I’ll continue next month. Ugh, it’s painful to remember. Really need a break from this.
  • Set up RSS feed on microblog
    • EDIT (04/21): Haven’t been able to set this up. I should really focus on archiving the art blog before considering this.
  • Replace pronouns.cc with a handcoded h-card
    • As I wrote in this post I would like to make an h-card for my site. This is one the example I may use. Clean and minimal.
  • Digital Garden
    • As described in this post, I want to add a digital garden to my website. This is an attempt to reduce my reliance on Notion whose quality of service has dwindled in the past couple of years (addition of AI, selling user data, and limits to offline mode are some of the reasons behind my decision). Instead of switching to a popular service other small web folk use, a table on my own site is completely free. Furthermore, I checked several of those sites and they sell user data. No thanks!
  • Projects page
    • EDIT (04/21): Wondering whether to merge Projects and Digital Garden. I also want to add a collection of LBGT+ Media I have consumed/seen the past few years. Need to stew these two ideas some more.
    • Outside my fics, I have other little projects and stray ideas I want to give them a home on my website. For example, one large project is a reimagining of Inazuma Eleven’s OG as an Otome Game, and a small project is a list of fic prompts. Also my OC stuff like character profiles.

  • Pillowfort Fundrasing ft. Pillowfriends
    • Friend and I are planning a fundraising activity consisting of adding faces to pillow-shaped amigurumi. It will be capped at ten donations and complex expressions like open eyes and mouths will require a larger donation.
    • My role is to coordinate this. I need to look for some examples on how to do this. Fortunately, there’s lots from the wonderful Pfio community.
  • Dec 2025 Ina11 Recs: AO3 Collection
    • Started and AO3 collection of all fics I recced during the rec_cember event last year but haven’t finished.
  • Archive DW posts to NSFW blog.
    • EDIT (04/23): zonelets is such a paaaaaaiiiinnn to update! Still working on getting those posts ready. Might add them to Pfio first and then maybe get the 11ty blog done and add these. Oh I also gotta add this blog post.
    • I have a few old blog posts I need to add to the NSFW blog. Mostly spoiler heavy meta about The Arcana Game and character analysis on a well-hated manchild.

On hold

  • Ina11 Recs: Pillowfort community
    • EDIT (04/21): After setting my Tumblr account into legacy status, Ina11Recs is officially active only at DW atm. This is a really specific project so I’m wondering if I should just request to be admin of the Ina11 Pfio community and accept fic recs there. Maybe I’ll make a post and see what folks think.
    • Have the idea of making a Pfio community the next iteration of Ina11Recs events, or perhaps crosspost–nah, too much work. The Ina11Recs DW comm is free to look at and I’ll add all post to my website some day. So yeah, and idea for a Pfio comm.
  • Add crosspost links to respective site blog posts.
    • EDIT (04/23): Finished sharing and crossposting that batch. Holding off backlinks as I’m working on a new blog. Maybe I should add a placeholder 🤔
    • EDIT (03/25): In the process of mirroring a batch of six posts. Starting with DW because it’s more quiet. But yeah I should share the posts from the previous batch on Pfio.
    • EDIT (02/27): I finished linking all the older posts on my main blog. Hooray! Now it’s the newest ones (2025-present) that I might consider crossposting or not. Mostly because it’s such a drag and some have images.

  • Snowflake Challenge (DW, PF)/Sunshine Challenge (TBA)
    • Not sure which I wanna take part in but I’m excited for both! Haven’t added a masterpost for the upcoming Snowflake Challenge.
  • Rewrite-a-fic
    • deadline: November 30th, 2026
    • Gonna enter with God of Victory which I write all the way back in 2017.
  • March Meta Matters
    • EDIT (02/21): I am also archiving some microblog threads that may be of public interest but haven’t published yet. Think event might be good motivation to get it done.
    • I wanna join this even to focus on archiving my blog posts from my Wattpad account. It’s… quite a lot, a hundrer seventy-seven entries. Some of them include meta related to the Inazuma Eleven Walker livestreams before Ares/Orion came out. Those are very important to me. I have very fond memories of those times.

I’m not holding myself too responsible for taking part in these challenges. It’s a lot because I don’t know how much I will be able to take part in which so this is more a year-long list of challenges I would like to participate to keep up the blogging habit.
