New idea for the website. Transform Notion databases on my games, books, and films and shows into HTML tables. A digital garden of sorts.

Finished adding my color scheme to the micro.blog account and I’m just realizing how satisfying and fun and dynamic it is to be given the option to personalize my social media page. It makes me realize the importance of that choice having been taken away from users on what became mainstream socmed.

Considering commissioning a set of site buttons. Somehow I’m drawing a blank with ideas. Plus, it would be nice to support an artist - is the excuse I keep telling myself because I feel socially pressured to even have a button in the first place.

Why did I make an account on micro.blog and why am I paying a dollar a month to have a place to ramble?
I have been an avid user of Mastodon since September 2025. A couple of weeks ago, likely from overexposure, I got the classic symptoms of social media overstimulation. Messily, I attempted to cut back on the amount of time I was spending on the platform and pondered hard on the reasons behind the decay of my mental health. I was confused as to why I had to subscribe to end the free trial in order to post. Then, as I reread the pricing section of micro.blog, I realized that blog hosting is a whole other service than what it lets you do without it. That is creating pages. So the web hosting and blog hosting are separate services where the latter is not included in the free trial and a paid service. Yes very confusing as a newbie. Also, hi.
