Retrieved previous journals a couple of days ago with the intention of transcribing my LBGT+ Media collections. I want to add this to my website in a new page. Really excited about it where this is a reminder to get that done! ๐

Thinking of taking a step back from web dev for a bit. I’ll keep and eye on RSS feeds to add to my reader and take notes on new additions.
Have left fandom posting aside and I really wanna get back to it. With the new wave of users on Pfio, fandoms are pretty lively.
I think I’ll post here first before crossposting. Gives me a few days to get comfortable and confident before sharing to a potentially wider audience that can interact with the posts.
This fannish posts should have a new tag. Not sure if the fandom name and/or a general tags. I’ll think about it.

It’s very funny there are people online I can identify by name/nickname and icon and I don’t follow on X site I see them around. Likewise, there are people I speak with on a semi regular basis that don’t follow me on X site I speak with them on.
The lesson? Follower numbers aren’t an accurate representation of the people something something human relationships something something impact and influence on individual people.
On this topic, I’ve been thinking about ways to describe the relationship with folks I’ve made the past year. Considering using the solar system as a metaphor.

The jury’s back from considering the idea of moving the Tumblr button on my linkhub to the Legacy section. More of the folks I care about have moved to Tumblr so it feels even less relevant to my life than before. Edit: Done!

Further considering how I want to apply this POSSE thing. Using Coyote’s site as an example, I would edit the blockquote at the end of each post “You can reply to this post via Dreamwidth, Pillowfort, or Mastodon.” Although I’m not sure about Mastodon. On the Fediverse, I share a short of announcement. Okay I guess folks can reply to that annoucement. That makes sense.
I should also add a link to webmentions which I’ve already set up on my site. Oh wait, microformats. Ahhh, too complicated.

For some reason the nav link to my 18+ blog on my site doesn’t work. Gotta fix that. Edit: Wow that’s weird, it works on desktop but not mobile. Anndd it also works on mobile. Anyways, case closed!

Thinking about trying a forum. Folks at Treefort seem nice. There’s also 32 bit cafe as well.
