Arima Mary's Microblog

#0121

Today's the last day of the month as well as the last day for the event I'm hosting, Finish That WIP: Writer's Edition. I just wanna write a little reflection over what I got done and some next steps.

I started with seven drafts that I wanted to tackle. I wanted to do something with them even if it meant scrapping them. They had been clogging my pile for a good while and I just wanted to make it smaller.

Of the seven, I found four which I decided to keep working on and three which I decided to scrap. Of the former, three are already published and one is still in the works and will not be done by today. The scrapped post were ideas or rants that I felt weren't interesting enough to keep working on. One was a guide for how to make a microblog using bearblog, the other was a rant about Netflix subs and the "normalization" of anime. I can't remember the third one...

Actually, looking at my wheel, the posts I wanted to work on included an idea and another draft. I didn't feel like starting the idea nor focusing on the draft.

I'm not quite sure yet what I want to focus on next month. Need to write the Monthly reviews first.

I started a few new drafts this month so I might try to finish a couple on August (unbelievable).
