Been a couple of times since I've let entries in my feed reader pile up. This time I first tried to read all entries from latest to earlier but I has more than a thousand to go through and soon changed tactics to read just the ones that caught my eye. But for the same reason, it was annoying to hey through everything so I decided to do I think the same thing I did the first time. Instead of using the All Unreads view, I went into each section and checked the feeds that I wanted to. It was much more... engaging? than the previous two methods because there's context (the context being the person the the feeds are from).
Also this got me thinking that I have seen a lot of post on RSS for setting up feeds for a website/blog, or for reading, or all the cool places or tools to get feeds from, but not much about long term use. Catching up with feeds, trimming them, etc. So I feel like I'm experiencing this without previous research. Might make a post about this 🤨.
