Petrapixel wrote a post about How to stop using social media. Very useful stuff here. For Instagram in particular, I recommend ditching the app and use the web version. It's such an unpleasant experience I stopped using Insta altogether lol. Also get an RSS feed reader. It works with Instagram through RSS bridge!
